If you are a native English speaker, you are already an expert in a skill that’s in very high demand – spoken English.  There are hundreds of millions of people in the world that are trying to learn to speak English.  Since you have the skills as a native English teacher, the doors are open to you to serve in this highly effective way. 

Below are a few organizations that can help place you in a place among the forgotten, and will ensure that you have the training, team work and encouragement to help you serve the those with the least access to the gospel by being their English teacher.

2 Year Opportunity	China Teaching Fellowship (CTF)
Program Description:   Locations Available China	After 2 months of on field training and orientation, you and your teammates will spend the remaining 10 months teaching English in private schools to Chinese students ranging in age from kindergarten to college. You will typically spend approximately 15-16 hours per week in the classroom, while your time outside the classroom will be spent preparing for the next day's lessons and interacting with your students and the Chinese teachers. You'll quickly discover that your students are enthusiastic to get to know you at a personal level and enjoy learning more about who you are.  As your relationships grow with your students and coworkers, you will be an incarnational presence to your students, and will be able to share the hope that is in you, and things of eternal value.

2 Year Opportunity	Church Planting Associates
Program Description:   Locations Available: Japan	A church in Japan needs your help now! Invest a year of your life helping a new Japanese church grow!  Experience: As a Church Planting Associate, you will be assigned to work with a Japanese pastor in a new church plant. LIFE career missionaries will serve as your models and mentors, and provide assistance in helping you use your gifts and abilities in ministering under a Japanese pastor. While English teaching is one tool for building relationships, many other ministry opportunities exist depending upon the needs of your Japanese church and upon your giftedness. These outreaches will be focused on making friends in your community and may include: music, drama, cooking classes, leading Bible studies, teaching English Bible classes or Sunday School classes, children's programs, camps, coffee houses, etc. If you want to do something lasting for Christ, now is a great time to be a Church Planting Associate in Japan.
