United prayer is the foundation of every movement and awakening in history!
One of the key ways that we can apply the lessons learned for the story of the Haystack is to commit to pray regularly for our generation's involvement in the great commission. God uses faithful, persevering prayer! The men of the Haystack met twice a week to pray, even when their group was less than a handful. God honored their persevering prayer. Eighty years later, prayer was the key driving force of the Student Volunteer Movement, as over a hundred thousand students joined Volunteer Bands (prayer groups).
SVM2 is committed to serving campus and church based prayer teams that meet regularly to pray for our generation's involvement in reaching the forgotten. Find out more about SVM2's commitment to raising up, networking and resourcing Global Prayer Teams.
